Keep you young!

Looking for a way to reverse the aging process?

Toast to your youthfulness with red wine!

“If I had to pick one superstar compound for longevity, it would be resveratrol, a polyphenol in purple grapes and red wine,” says Jonny Bowden, author of The Most Effective Natural Cures on Earth. Harvard research found resveratrol helps lengthen lifespan by turning off a gene involved in aging, he notes.

Its compounds also lower cholesterol, reduce cancer risk and prevent heart disease and even diabetes!

Reap the benefits!

Drink one glass a day; any more, the scientists say, can actually counteract the positive effects!

Although I have heard red wine is better for me than white wine, I prefer white wine and not every day. I have not found a red wine that I find tasty. I am sure if I tried different wines I would find one I would enjoy.

~Live a good, honorable life.
Then when you get older and look back,
you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.

  1. My great-granmother, living to the vigorous age of 102, drank a small cup of her own homemade elderberry wine each night while reading her evening devotionals!

  2. Well, I’m a white wine woman, Renee, and only sometimes on the weekends, but I have read good stuff about red wine in the past…that’s amazing about Granbee’s great-grandmother living to 102! You just never know! :)

Have a fabulous day!
