Physical activity will dramatically improve your outlook today~
Happy Friday everybody.
I am proud of my accomplishments at the GYM
I may be bragging.
On the other end, I have earned it.
I took this photo of my legs and if you look really close you can see the pin is at 110 pounds. I do 3 sets of 15.
Great machine to build those buns of steel.
I have to add that I am a proud Baby boomer and love to share my joy of physical activity.
“What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly.”
– Richard Bach
My sweet grand son a few years ago. He was pointing at a caterpillar.
I love that little man~
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray:
‘Take only ONE. God is watching.’
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note,
‘Take all you want. God is watching the apples’
A smile to share with you all.
Thank-you to my sister-in-law for sending this email to me.

The above recipe is familiar to the top one.
Since I love coconut, next time I will try the ‘no bake balls’.
The ‘energy bites’ were yummy~
They are so quick to throw together.

These words touched my heart early this morning.
I always feel kindness starts within ourselves.
Give someone a smile today.
Put down your technology of choice and really listen when others are talking to you.
Share some kindness in your world.
Have a terrific weekend~
“Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.”
– Virginia Satir
I enjoyed a power walk with my daughter early this morning.
The sun was shining and we kept on walking.
4 miles/6.43 KM.
I love to be able to go on these walks with my daughter and catch up on our news in this busy world.
It warms the heart to take some time for the two of us.
Take the time to do something that will warm your heart today~
A hug is a great gift. One size fits all and it’s easy to exchange.
Give an emotional hug by sharing kind words.
Give a spiritual hug by sitting in quiet prayer.
Give a hug of Faith by speaking words of encouragement.
You deserve a hug today.
You deserve lots of hugs~ My Grand Son enjoying a ‘Bear Hug’
Once you plan to make exercising a lifestyle routine, it will automatically stick.
My grand son. I enjoy my walks with my little man, A.J.
Boys are fun too! He is so observant and I just love his curiosity.
My daughter is very much into fitness as well and it makes me so pleased to see it all being instilled in my grand kidlets.
Hiking, walks and runs are a few of the many activities, my daughter involves the grand kidlets with.
It is a ‘lifestyle routine’ for us all. My gym workout was done early this morning and it is a part of my weekly routine. If I am not at the gym, I am running or long power walks.
My Hubby and I enjoy long walks together.
Fitness is good for us.
It works for me and I love the results.
Although I still have lingering pain in my upper back and neck from a car accident a number of years ago, exercising does help to a certain degree. My doctor says to keep my muscles strong as it will help with some of the pain.
Exercising is good for me emotionally and along with those feel good endorphins, it all keeps me smiling.
Take good care of yourself and do the best you can with whatever fitness of your choice.
